on bangs

every so often, i get it into my head that it's a good idea to cut bangs.  i get the idea and then i obsess over it until one day i grab the scissors and hack at the front of my hair.

it's never a good idea to cut bangs.

but then my brain goes
 you could look like this

and then my brain goes
but your hair will not look like that

so i cut side bangs and they never look how i mean and then i have bang regret.  again.
