i've been going around grinning this week.  wet dogs and chinese takeout.  picking out the onions.  rum and cokes and pinball machines.  wheat toast, family pictures, airplane forks.  bare feet and petechiae.  a cupcake at two a.m.  the good stuff, you know?  little secrets tucked into my pockets for later.

and also babysitting.
